AI Coding Assistants are Better in the Terminal

I'm convinced the best #AI coding assistants live in the terminal. They just feel more powerful. Faster. Less in the way.

My current take on this:

• Claude code > Gemini code (cli)
• Gemini code > Cursor cli
• Cursor cli > Cursor (IDE)
• Cursor (IDE) > GitHub Copilot
  (Yes, I like to call it "gemini code", instead of gemini cli 🔥)

I honestly cant put my finger on why. Maybe its the reduced context switching, or just the raw, direct interaction… maybe, latency?
