Changing One Component in a System - Effects on the Whole
Changing One Component Affects The Entire System
I built a new product last night... and it is not what you expect 😅
The tech stack: vodka, maple syrup, and lemon juice.
-> I was tired of the existing market (my usual drinks) and decided to build my own solution.
v1 was simple: Mix, shake, serve.
It even got a project name: "George's Dream" (silly name, but I didnt choice it, the "testers" did 🍹)
Now I'm thinking about v2: swapping the bottled lemon juice (a managed service) for fresh lemons (self-hosting). It means I have to re-balance the entire system. The ratios are all wrong now.
A good reminder that even in a simple system, changing one component affects everything.
