Don't Focus Too Much on AI as the Leader
I’m getting tired of posts about AI for engineering managers.
I dont care about the perfect prompt to summarize a meeting. I care about the conversation that happens “after”.
- The quiet dev with a brilliant idea they won't voice.
- The senior who's burning out but says "everything's fine."
That's the real work. The messy, human, irreplaceable work.
Tools are only leverage, not the point.
What's the last great people-focused article or book you've read?
I need recommendations :)
